Radio Elton John was launched in August 2022 by eltonjohn.world founders George Matlock and Fran Gilles.
Starting with chatshow Saturday Night’s Alright (for podcasting), hosted by George Matlock and executive produced by Hezikor Kadouri, renamed in 2026 ENCORE!, the show has been accompanied by other shows on the radio station. We also broadcast another REJ-exclusive Neil’s In the Mix, as well as I Guess That’s Why they Call it the Elton John Podcast, both hosted by broadcaster Neil Barrett.

George founded eltonjohn.world with Fran Gilles in March 2002.
George was a professional journalist since 1990, and latterly works in public relations.
George has since 2004 worked in Polish community radio in London. In 2006 he launched his own Anglo-Polish community radio station Radio ORLA for the UK, Ireland and Poland. In 2016 he launched London Scottie Club, latterly renamed Scottie Club UK, as well as its podcast range Scottie Radio UK. Since the website’s relaunch as eltonjohn.world in 2022, he is also host of Saturday Night’s Alright (for podcasting), a monthly chatshow on REJ.World. Since 2026, the show is renamed ENCORE!
