How do I listen?
Since June 2024, our earliest podcasts can only be heard in full from one place, REJ.World (Platinum channel – login required). However, you can still hear full free episodes from the past 12 months (Silver channel – no login required). Silver channel is delayed by 7 days as we give priority to those who have full access with Platinum channel.
You can also hear shorter previews “REJ Shorts” of all episodes on our Preview page (no login required).
With Silver or Platinum, you don’t need to worry about any fancy software to download. Simply use the integrated player on our website REJ.World.
What is the difference between Silver and Platinum channels?
Silver channel is totally free. No sign-up, no login nor credit card is required. Silver allows you access to all full episodes of the past 12 months (after a 7 day delay from priority publication on Platinum channel) of Radio Elton John’s flagship show Saturday Night’s Alright (for Podcasting). Since Season 5, the show is renamed ENCORE! Chats with Elton’s Circle and Fans. Silver channel also now carries show Neil’s In The Mix.
For less than the price of a takeaway coffee, Platinum channel allows you to hear any and all of the episodes in full – for a whole month! That’s right, from Season 1 onwards. You can check out the REJ Shorts previews on our Preview page. So you know what to expect. And then subscribe to tune into any number of episodes for a whole month on Platinum channel. REJ.World owns the copyright to its broadcast shows and by law you may not share the episode. You can stream from REJ.World anytime when logged in to Platinum channel.
Platinum channel allows you to stream all our back catalogue of episodes – now numbering more than 40 – as well as the next episodes of the monthly show ENCORE! Chats with Elton’s Circle and Fans. To avoid interruption, you automatically renew each month unless you cancel. Just login to continue to enjoy access.
Why do I have to subscribe for Platinum channel?
Eltonjohn.world and REJ.World receive no other source of income. Yet REJ.World now reaches more than 150 countries and the number of listeners has exceeded our expectations in the years since we began broadcasting in 2022. That has increased our costs of delivery, and we also had to tighten security for both REJ.World and its main website eltonjohn.world to ensure stable and reliable content delivery to you.
Although a lot of news about Elton is online and free, many respected media do charge for access to content. And many free media carry fake news that confuse your experience – and misrepresent Elton. Your payment helps ensure the independence of our editorial resources and supports our impartiality and integrity. No one is trying to get rich quick. We have day jobs too.
Plus ask yourself this: would an Elton biographer give away their book? After all the research and work that they put into their book? An audiobook typically takes 3-5 hours to play. We have more than 40 hours of content. So that’s more than 8 books’ worth of content right there! Yet you pay a fairly-priced $1.99 a month.
The “free” alternative is AI-driven fake or slanted news or advertising distractions that slow down your enjoyment of our content.
To try to cater for everyone, we have agreed to introduce a compromise. You can hear the past 12 months of ENCORE! “frepisodes”, on Silver channel free. But the frepisodes come with a 7-day delay and may come with advertising and sponsors’ messages to support us. Thanks for your understanding.

How do we pay for Platinum ?
Radio Elton John has teamed up with PayPal and charges in US dollars. So you can use your bank card, credit card or bank account to make payments. Whatever means of payment you link with PayPal can be used, including any credit on your PayPal account. PayPal is a world leader in safe reliable global transactions.
What does my money buy?
Candy by the Pound. No one likes to go from free to subscription – even if many good-intentioned fans would be happy to make a donation. That is why we have kept the price of our subscription as low as possible. Works out at less than 7 cents a day!
But you also have to ask yourself what do you get upgrading from free (Silver channel) to subscription (Platinum channel)? The benefits of each access point is explained in a handy table here.

The content of REJ.World is exclusive. You will not find another programme like ENCORE! Chats with Elton’s Circle and Fans. The presenter, George Matlock, personally knows many of his guests having run the Hercules UK fan club in the 1990s and has worked with several performers linked to Elton. As a professional journalist, George knows the questions that matter to fans and how best to work with guests to get fresh angles you will not read about elsewhere. The shows are also intended to be entertaining. Many guests have offered positive testimonials about their experiences on Radio Elton John. You can read them here. Since 2025, we also give a platform to the REJ tribute band Pinner. Hear exclusive songs only at REJ.World ! And give Pinner some credit ! They do a brilliant job on the music through their love of Elton John. Everyone of them is a devout fan.

What is your take on Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Rej.world and sister website eltonjohn.world declared their support in February 2025 for the campaign to protect artists’ copyright against unfair usage by technology companies. See: Eltonjohn.world backs artists against AI
Eltonjohn.world further declared that it would ensure the creation of articles written without Artificial Intelligence (AI). Although some initial sourcing may involve AI, all sources must then be verified as genuine and cross-referenced to ensure that they are true and fair.
Rej.world further declared that it would ensure the creation of any scripts or presentation of those scripts would be achieved without AI.
Both websites acknowledge the spread of AI and its increasing influence on the creation of images and special audio effects. However, both websites will adhere to the goal of ensuring that no articles or scripts will 1. Impersonate Elton John or other guests or 2. Synthesise the creative output of Elton John. Where impersonation is achieved for entertainment purposes, such as parody or comic effect, this will be clearly marked so as to avoid any confusion for readers or listeners.
