How do we listen?
Since June 2024, our podcasts Seasons 1-3 can only be heard in full from one place, REJ.world (Platinum experience). However, from Season 4 onwards you can also hear full free episodes in the Silver experience, or download to a mobile phone using the Podbean app. Silver experience is delayed by 7 days as we have to give priority to those who have full access on Platinum experience.
You can also hear 5-minute previews of all episodes in our “Preview” page (without signing in).
With Silver or Platinum, you don’t need to worry about any fancy software or downloads. Simply use the integrated player on our website rej.world.
What is the difference between Silver and Platinum experience membership?
Silver experience is totally free. No sign-up, login or credit card is required. Silver allows you access to all full episodes since Season 4 (after a 7 day delay) of Radio Elton John’s flagship show Saturday Night’s Alright (for Podcasting). Silver also now carries show Neil’s In The Mix.
For less than the price of a takeaway coffee, Platinum experience allows you to hear any and all of the episodes in full – for a whole month! That’s right, from Season 1 onwards. You can check out the short previews on our “Preview” page. So you know what to expect. And then subscribe to tune into any number of episodes for a whole month. REJ.World owns the copyright to its broadvlcast shows and by law you may not share the episode. You can stream from REJ.World anytime. You need to login.
Platinum experience allows you to stream all our back catalogue of episodes – now numbering more than 40 – as well as the next episodes of the monthly show Saturday Night’s Alright (for podcasting). To avoid interruption of play, you automatically renew each month unless you cancel. Just login to continue to enjoy access.
Why do we have to subscribe for REJ.World?
Eltonjohn.world and REJ.World receive no other source of income. Yet REJ.World now reaches more than 150 countries and the number of listeners has exceeded our expectations in the years since we began broadcasting in 2022. That has increased our costs of delivery, and we also had to tighten security for both REJ.World and its main website eltonjohn.world to ensure stable and reliable content delivery to you.
Although a lot of news about Elton is online and free, many respected media do charge for access to content. And many free media carry fake news that fuzzy your experience and misrepresent Elton. Your payment helps ensure the independence of our editorial and supports our impartiality and integrity. No one is trying to get rich quick. We have day jobs too.
Plus ask yourself this: would an Elton biographer give away his book? After all the research and work that he or she put into their book? An audiobook typically takes 3-5 hours to play. We have more than 40 hours of content. So that’s more than 8 books’ worth of content right there!
The “free” alternative is AI-driven fake or slanted news and distractions that slow down your enjoyment of our content.
To try to cater for everyone, we have agreed to introduce a compromise. From Season 4 onwards, you can hear episodes free, what we call “frepisodes”, on Silver. But the episodes come with a 7-day delay and are populated with advertising and sponsors’ messages to support us. Thanks for your understanding.
We are super grateful for the many letters of support we received upon launching REJ.World and hope that many of you will appreciate that we continue to offer value for money.

How do we pay for Radio Elton John?
Radio Elton John has teamed up with PayPal and charges in US dollars. So you can use your bank card, credit card or bank account to make payments. Whatever means of payment you link with PayPal can be used, including any credit on your PayPal account. PayPal is a world leader in safe reliable global transactions.
What does my money buy?
No one likes to go from free to subscription – even if many good-willed fans would be happy to make a donation. That is why we have kept the price of our subscription as low as possible. Works out at less than 7 cents a day!
But you also have to ask yourself what do you get going from free (Silver) to subscription (Platinum)? The benefits of each access point is explained in a handy table here.

The content of REJ.World is exclusive. You will not find another programme like it. The presenter, George Matlock, personally knows many of his guests having run the Hercules UK fan club in the 1990s and has worked with several performers linked to Elton. As a professional journalist, George knows the questions that matter to fans and how best to work with guests to get fresh angles you will not read about elsewhere. The shows are also intended to be entertaining. Many guests have offered positive testimonials about their experiences on Radio Elton John. Since 2025, we also give a platform to the REJ tribute band Pinner. Hear exclusive songs only at REJ.World ! And give Pinner some credit! They do a brilliant job on the music through their love of Elton John. Everyone of them is a devout fan.
